Shipped to Abu Dhabi: Guest Blogger James Taneja

When it comes to Abu Dhabi, the image of Garfield shipping adorable and unassuming Nermal in a brown box to a mysterious land comes to mind.  I can finally replace the shenanigans of a fat orange cat with these great images our very dear friend James took while on business to the UAE.

There are not any ruins to go see. Everything here has been built (or rebuilt) in the past 50 years. It’s still very nice but the only old thing to see is older houses/office spaces that are slated to be rebuilt anyway. Even the old souks are very modernized, which isn’t a bad thing, but I was expecting street side shops like in India or Spain. ” – James

Thanks for sharing! We look forward to more pictures!
